VISUAL IDENTITY

Photography Guidelines

Our photography helps showcase our expertise. It should be vibrant, immersive and authentic, pulling the viewer into the passionate work of Harris.

Close-up, crisp, detail photos help showcase individual expertise areas without being specific to a particular project, while large-scale all-encompassing photos of buildings showcase project-based feats.

Correct

DO use depth of field when taking close-up photos to enhance the immersive quality and highlight key aspects.

DO use well lit, expansive shots of full buildings when showcasing portfolio projects.

DO showcase people in candid working environments with the proper safety attire.

Incorrect

DO NOT overly pose photographs. Images should appear candid and showcase the working environment.

DO NOT showcase employees without the proper safety attire. Photos should look candid, not posed (unless it is a portrait).

DO NOT showcase people where it is hard to tell what they are doing. Background clutter should not obstruct the focus. Photos should be crisp and bold, not dull.

DO NOT use close-up photography that is dark and lacks focus. Bright lighting, immersive angles and depth of field should be utilized.

DO NOT zoom out on detail-oriented photos. Showcase important details through immersive, close-up photography.
